Lunch Bag–I made my mom a lunch bag for her birthday in April, 2009. I used the Lunch Bag pattern by Favorite Things. It was really straight-forward and easy, except for the handle. But, the handle trouble was probably a Bug-related defficiency.
Pintuck Purse–On a quilt shop hop this Spring, Mom found this pattern, then later was looking at fabric to make this adorable pintuck purse. While she was choosing fabric, I was browsing black and white fabric and found the dress form fabric used for my purse. It just screamed that it had to be made into a purse, so we decided to make non-matching matching mother/daughter purses. This pattern, by Soleil, was a bit beyond my level, and I really struggled with the pintucks. After take two, Mom did the pintucks for me. But! I did the rest! Didn’t they turn out fabulous?
